Vimass wallet is an application of Vietnam Mobile Platform Services Joint Stock Company (Vimass) under license 41/GP-NHNN of the State Bank on March 12, 2018:
1. Vimass wallet has 3 types: personal wallet = phone number; business wallet = D + business code; multi-card wallet NFC = V + card number.
2. Account: (a) Statement (b) Information (c) Link (d) Token (e) Limit (f) Face (g) Voice (h) Fingerprint (i) Security.
3. Transfer money: (a) to Vimass wallet (b) to bank account/card (c) to ATM (d) to ID card (e) to phone (to account, card, e-wallet hidden behind number) phone) (f) Deposit/ Withdraw/ Borrow money.
4. Payment: (a) Healthcare, Education, Public Service (b) Telephone (c) Movie ticket (d) Flight ticket (e) Train ticket (f) Car ticket (g) Insurance (h) Tuition (i) Securities (j) Cryptocurrencies (k) Tokens.
5. Income and expenditure: (a) Electricity (b) Water (c) Internet (d) Television (e) Deposit / Withdrawal of savings (f) Gift giving (g) Charity (h) Red envelopes.
6. QR code: (a) Scanning all QRs to receive payment according to the standards of the State Bank of Vietnam: VietQR, Vimass QR, VNPAY QR, QR generated by banks Vietcombank, Vietinbank, BIDV, Agribank, VPBank, Techcombank, MB, ACB, Sacombank, TPBank, etc (b) Public QR Scan: Citizen ID, Medical Declaration, VssID, Vaccine Passport. (c) Create VietQR, Vimass QR for payment receipt and Vimass QR for non-financial services.
7. Multi-function card: Touch card to view statement, information, money transfer, payment, collection and payment, change password, change limit, change information, link with wallet and bank account, configure network for reader head.
8. Digital signature: Register/change password; Digitally sign documents; Document authentication; Digital signing device.

11. Encrypt data between application and server according to 3DES standard 192 bits
12. Transaction authentication by: (a) 6 Token numbers, Fingerprint, Identity: after registering Login password or Token password, Fingerprint/Identifier will replace these passwords (b) digitally signed device: the application automatically detects digital signing device such as USB Token, microSDHC, PKI card to digitally sign financial transactions, electronic documents, invoices
12. Transaction limit: (a) Using Token, Fingerprint, Facial Recognition for transactions: maximum 500 million/time and 1.5 billion/day. (b) Using digital signature: unlimited amount and number of transactions per day (c) Using a multi-purpose card above the limit must enter a card password
13. Notebook: details of successful transactions are automatically saved to the Notebook for future use
14. Complaint: when the money is deducted but the transaction is not done, click the complaint button in the statement details to go to Vimass.
15. Change of information: the identification of e-wallets according to the regulations of the State Bank must have a photo of ID card, account at the bank.
16. Transaction fee (not applicable to collection and payment contracts for units):
a) The Vimass Wallet app is free to download, free to use and does not require an account balance.
b) Fee for transferring money to Vimass Wallet:
- From 1 VND to 1 million VND: 330 VND/time (including 10% VAT)
- From 1 million to 20 million VND: 1,100 VND/time (including 10% VAT)
- Over 20 million VND: 2,200 VND/time (including 10% VAT)
c) Fees for transferring money to other accounts, cards or e-wallets:
- From 1 VND to 300 million VND: 4,400 VND/time (including 10% VAT)
- Over 300 million VND = 4,400 VND x (1+ [Amount/300 million]).
d) QR payment fee:
- Payer: pay 1 of 3 rates 330 VND, 1,100 VND or 2,200 VND as money transfer to Vimass Wallet.
- Merchants using Vimass QR: pay Vimass 0.1% if payment is received from Vimass Wallet; or pay 0.15% if receiving payment from m-banking or other e-wallets.
e) Fee for using multi-function card: (i) in hospitals, schools, public transport is 0.1% (ii) at other merchants is 0.15%.
